I am currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FTSM) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). My research interest is in the area of Natural Language Processing, with particular focus on Malay, English and Arabic language processing issues. Currently I am a member of the Center for Artificial Intelligence Technology (CAIT), FTSM. I am also the advisor for the Asian Language Processing Lab under CAIT. I received my PhD from University of Ulster, UK, MSc degree from University of Liverpool, UK and Bsc(Hons) from UMIST, UK.
