Empowered by 26 researchers with PhDs and another 13 with highly technical computing skills, Research Center for Software Technology and Management (Softam) is already in the research stream of fast changing technology in computing. Consisting of twelve research labs and broad areas of computing research, starting from experimenting the idea, creating the technology and deploying it in real context, to studying the impact of the results, shows the dedication of Softam to look at the whole spectrum of research. Being for general purpose, technical user, business user, even a young user, Softam’s research is about them all, the user.

Softam comprises four research groups, Programming and Software Technology (ATUR) is led by Prof Abdullah Mohd. Zin, Strategic Information Systems (SIS) is led by Dr. Kamsuriah Ahmad and Multimedia and Usability (MMU) is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. NorAzan Md. Zin.
